It will be an evening of connecting with socially and environmentally conscious individuals, engaging in open-minded, forward-thinking conversations, exchanging ideas on solutions we can apply today, and forging collaborations for the future.
Joining the conversations will be Manila-based MUNI friends, traveler-entrepreneur Guido Sarreal of Kawil Tours, Culture Shock PH and Trail Adventures (featured here), and urban farmer Enzo Pinga of Bahay Kubo Organics.
How it works
Register for the meetup by filling out the form at the end of this post.
We then assign you to a corresponding group, so that you can be part of a more in depth discussion on a topic that matters more to you. And you still get the benefit of hearing summarized versions of the other topics too. 🙂
For this meetup, our topics include:
- SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION / CONSCIOUS CONSUMPTION
(Relevant reads: Filipino Fashion, Home & Lifestyle Finds @ MUNI Market Day; Does “sustainable” leather actually exist?)
- CUT THE CRAP / WASTE REDUCTION
(Relevant reads: #CutTheCrap on Rethinking Disposables’ Life Cycle and Single-use / Takeaway Culture; Bottled Drinks, Straws, Chopsticks; Ways to Cut The Crap)
- HEALTHY EATING & URBAN FARMING
(Relevant reads: Eat Better; Being the vegan elephant in the room; 8 Reasons to Ease on Meat)
(Relevant reads: Groups to Travel with in the Philippines; Tips for Mindful Travel)
You can also shape the discussion by making another topic a point for discussion (whether in this meetup or the next) by adding your suggestion in the form below.

This will include access to a great learning and networking event, and a community of passionate, socially and environmentally conscious individuals!
