#MUNIonThis: You’re probably concerned about those affected by #YolandaPH and you’re wondering how you can help. A lot of times clothes are the easiest things people give away, and relief efforts need much more than that.
SO, we’re asking friends to donate old clothes that we can SELL during Muni PH x Moonleaf Tea Shop‘s Not Another Coffee Shop Planner (we’re a tea shop!): THE LAUNCH so we can donate money, which is what relief efforts need more of now.
If you have NICE-looking clothes that you don’t really wear anymore and don’t just want to “throw away” either (like haven’t seen the light of day in the past 3-6 months and are less practical for typhoon survivors, i.e. office-y or party-y wear), please send in donations on or before November 14, THURSDAY only, so we can sort and tag them for selling.
Make sure to pre-sort your clothes and make sure they are appropriate for selling (read: clean, presentable and something people would pay for), and bag/label them for #TheBetterCloset / MUNI, and indicate your name and e-mail address so we can update you on the status of #TheBetterCloset. 🙂

Purchase a few pieces or a whole new wardrobe on November 16 at Moonleaf Maginhawa (during ourkickass planner launch) with practically zero environmental impact and 100% positive impact for those affected by Yolanda in Northern Cebu.
We’ll be collecting e-mail addresses of all buyers, tallying all amounts collected, and will be working closely with Save Philippine Seas & Global Shapers Manila to make sure cash donations are properly spent.
We’re sure that you will feel good once you have helped in one way or another. So we hope you will share this with others, come to our event on November 16 and refresh your wardrobe with new pieces for a cause! 🙂
